Hi,

How do you go back to your old life? Meeting someone you really, really love who is unreachable is pure utter bliss and at the same time, a red hot spear of dull, burning pain. You float over the treetops, buildings and smog, turning and turning until you get that euphoric dizzy feeling. You want to throw up but you wouldn't because you don't want to get rid of anything within you that was part of that magic moment; it just feels too good. You hold on to the memories, play them over and over in your head. You dream of partaking in everyday life with him. Long conversations, picnics at the park, watching t.v. on the couch, cooking, eating, him bathed in sunlight playing his guitar while you draw perched on a chair in your favorite shadowy corner. Simple, everyday things.

Going back to your life before last night will be difficult. It's probably how a kite must feel when the wind dies down and the ground speeds towards it. But hit it you must, and start walking again. Crawl, walk, run until this feeling becomes an amorphous mass haunting the chambers of your heart and mind.

Life will never be the same. Love will never be as pure and blissful as this.

All things considered, I loved seeing how happy and carefree you were that night.

Love,
Me
