Teenagers

In an Apple store, Shangrila Mall:

Teen: (in a negotiating tone) Dad, that's what I want (gesturing to a Mac thing)
Dad : (inaudible mumble)
Teen: (exasperated, serious, whiny tone) Do you want me to die? I would totally die without it!
Dad : (barely audible) You ask your mom if you could get that.

I ROFLed inside but if that were my kid, I would've totally told her to keel over right there and then.
