Rant, rant
Haay, Fully Booked marketing people better get their asses in gear. Neil is starting to notice how they're enthusiastically continuing the Philippine Graphic/Fiction contest. Man, I didn't even hear about it until after the deadline. Neil's visit in 2005 was hugely successful, strewth, and the contest stemmed from his visit here, proving that he wanted to nurture Filipino writing/drawing talents. But then, what happened? Classic case of ningas cogon, I tell ya. All I saw -- just today, from Neil's blog -- was a paltry poster of this year's contest with the cheesiest, most unimaginative title (UNREALITY BITES? C'mooooon...) ever at the Fully Booked website. Grrr.
