Sigh. Two of my good, good friends in the office are resigning. Shakira filed for resignation last month, to go back home to her family, to her old love in a far-away island. Ben, on the other hand filed for an immediate resignation just last week because he passed the Foreign Service exam and he needs time to study for the panel interviews in January. We're all so proud of both of them, for Shakira who's following her heart, and for Ben, who's fulfilling his dream.

Personally, I'm really sad to have my friends leave. They have played such a big part in my life here at the office and them leaving is like they're taking a chunk of my life along with them. Things here will never be the same again.

Kili-kili, Jellybutt, Diosa, Shakira, Ben and I had a little dinner thingie last Sunday, to celebrate birthdays and triumphs. We had such a great time laughing and joking around like we usually do on the floor, only this time, the thought that this might be the last time that we'd be like this sat at the back of my mind.
